One fact about me is that I am entirely dependent on salons when it comes to getting my nails clean and beautiful. So, once a month or two, I make it a habit to go to a nearby salon to have my nails done. By now, I should have one favorite salon to go to, but I don’t have one. Because one salon can be affordable but the quality is not good. Then the other has a great service, but it is too painful for the pocket. So it just depends whether I am tight on budget or not.
Good thing, I discovered a newly-built salon in SM Fairview, where quality meets affordability.
The staff was very accommodating and will help you pick the colors that’s right for you. You can choose as many colors as you want. And you can try it on, if you are still undecided.
I availed their manicure and pedicure for P300, which is affordable compared to other salons. Because the usual rate of a pedicure Is around P200+. Then there is an additional amount if you want an imported brand of polish, but with them, all of their nail polish are imported. So, after minutes of choosing the right colors, I settled for orange and green for my hands and old rose for my toes.
The service was same with other salons, but what makes it different than others was they will offer you drinks in the middle of your session: iced tea, coffee or water. I asked coffee, though it is just 3-in-1, it is still something you don’t find in other salons. And the staff will talk to you, offer magazines for you to read and carefully clean your nails.
The determining factor for me, whether I will return to this salon or not, is if they can remove my toes’ dry skin or not. Well, it is a yes for this one.
Overall experience was good. The ambiance was nice, though it is small and new. The staff was all nice and accommodating.
And just before we leave, after a very nice nail session, we were handed 2 of this…
Which gives us a free 30-minute foot massage on our next visit.
