These were taken at The Ultimate Taste Test 2013 in Rockwell. It’s been, what, 2 years already. I missed last year’s event, but I would not definitely miss this year’s.
I just learned that The Ultimate Taste Test 2015 will be happening this Sept 12, 2015 at the Glorietta Activity Center. I looked it up, knowing that it usually happens in September. And I was just right in time to buy my ticket! And it is also timely, to share these photos with you.
The Ultimate Taste Test invites people over to let them be a food critic for a day. When you get in to the location, they will hand you a booklet, which is also your map of the place. You will see the name of the concessionaires and where they are located. Per concessionaire you will be given their food sample, in exchange you hand them your booklet, so they can sign it (this is to avoid people from coming back the 2nd time.) Afterwards, you will rate them 1 – 5 (5 as the highest). From there, they will determine the top food suppliers and they will be featured in Our Awesome Planet!

Ultimate Taste Test Event 2015
What: Ultimate Taste Test 2015 — Be a Food Critic for a Day!
When: September 12, 2015, Saturday, 11.00 am – 9.00 pm.
Where: Glorietta Activity Center, Ayala Center Makati
Ultimate Taste Test Fee: P500/head . Inclusive of:
- Food Taste Portions from a minimum of 40+ Home-Based Food Vendors & Power Plant Mall Restaurants for the entire Saturday
- A bottle of San Miguel Super Dry, Premium All-Malt or Cerveza Negra
(For foodies 18 years old and above only)
- Food Critic Ballot for voting your favorite food discoveries.
ULTIMATE TASTE TEST 2015 TICKETING MECHANICS:
1). Tickets for UTT 2015 will only be sold online.
2). Payments may be made through bank deposit or online via PayPal, or payments may also be made at the Creative Juice office at the 2F of Fun Ranch in Pasig. (Monday to Friday 9-5pm).
3). BANK DEPOSIT. Tickets reserved online may be paid for through bank deposit made to the following account:

A copy of the deposit slip together with the name of person who filed the reservation should be sent to Creative Juice via email at firstname.lastname@example.org for reservation to be considered confirmed.
4). E-Ticket. After payment is made and proof of payment is received by us (Walk-in, Paypal notification or emailed bank deposit), an e-ticket will be sent via email within three (3) days at most.
5). Validation. The e-ticket must be printed out and this will be surrendered at the event entrance on the event date. A valid ID and the original copy of the official receipt/deposit slip should be presented upon claiming. No e-ticket, no entry.
6). Kids Policy. Children aged 7 and below will be granted free entrance but no passport will be given. Should children wish to participate in the taste test, they are free to purchase a ticket at regular price.
7). Ticket Price. Ticket price is at Php500.00 per individual. Senior Citizen ticket rate is at Php400.00 each.
8). Senior citizen e-ticket holders should present a valid ID at the venue for validation. If ticket holder is not able to present a senior citizen ID, the difference in amount (P100) will be charged to him/her. Additionally, tickets bought at the senior citizen rate are not transferrable to non-senior citizens. In the case where a senior citizen gives his/her ticket to a non-senior citizen, the new ticket-holder should pay an extra of P100 upon entrance.
9). Payments for tickets are non-refundable.
10). Tickets may be transferable, but the ticket holder must issue an authorization letter and attach a photocopy of a valid ID to transfer use of the e-tickets.
